The Third International Workshop on Nanocarbon Photonics and Optoelectronics (NPO2012) will be held in Lomakeskus Huhmari, Polvijärvi, North Karelia, Finland, 29 July - 4 August 2012

The Workshop venue is situated on the shores of the lake Höytiäinen, which broad waters and numerous islands provide you with magnificent scenery. The NPO2012 is devoted to recent advances in the filed of nanocarbon photonics and optoelectronics. The invited lectures, oral and poster presentations that will be distributed in six major modules:

• Graphene optoelectronics
• Carbon nanotube photonics and electronics
• Electronic properties of diamond and nanodiamonds
• Nonlinear optics of nanocarbon materials
• Electron emission from nanocarbon materials
• Nanocarbon materials synthesis and characterization

The Workshop is aimed at PhD students, post-doctoral and young researchers in the first instance. They will be able to establish direct contact both with leading scientists in the field of nanocarbon-based photonics and optoelectronics and with their colleagues from different counties.
